Want to Turn Your Travel Blog Into a Business?

When I started Two Geeks Travel, I loved creating travel content—but figuring out how to actually make money from a travel blog was another story.

SEO, keyword research, affiliate marketing, email lists, content strategy…there was so much information available that figuring out what I should actually focus on became overwhelming.

That’s when I discovered Scale Your Travel Blog, the blogging program created by Laura Peters.

Before taking Scale Your Travel Blog, I didn’t always have a clear strategy behind the content I was creating. I knew I wanted more traffic and eventually wanted my blog to generate income, but understanding how all the pieces fit together was difficult.

The program helped me start looking at Two Geeks Travel differently.

Instead of simply asking, “What should I write about next?” I started thinking about:

  • What are travelers actually searching for?
  • Can I realistically rank for this keyword?
  • What other articles should support this topic?
  • How can I improve content I’ve already published?
  • What does the reader need after finding my article?
  • Is there a natural way for this content to generate income?

That shift has changed how I research, write, update, and monetize content on Two Geeks Travel.

Scale Your Travel Blog covers much more than simply adding affiliate links to your articles.

The program teaches bloggers how the different parts of building an online business work together, including SEO, keyword research, content strategy, affiliate marketing, email marketing, traffic growth, and monetization.

One of my biggest takeaways was learning to think about my blog as a complete business rather than a collection of individual posts.

A successful article isn’t necessarily the one that gets the most pageviews. It might be an article that attracts exactly the right reader, supports another important piece of content, generates affiliate sales, grows your email list, or strengthens your authority around a particular topic.

For me, Scale Your Travel Blog was worth the investment, but I don’t think it’s the right course for everyone.

It’s not a shortcut to passive income, and buying a blogging course won’t magically increase your traffic. You still have to research keywords, create content, update old articles, learn what your audience wants, and actually implement the strategies you’re taught.

Where I found the most value was having a structured roadmap instead of trying to piece everything together myself.

If you’re serious about growing your blog but feel overwhelmed trying to figure out SEO, traffic, affiliate marketing, and monetization on your own, I’ve written a complete review sharing my experience with the program.
