Need to Learn More About Fantasy Springs in Disney?
Tokyo DisneySea has always been one of my favorite places in Japan, but with the grand opening of the new Fantasy Springs, this popular park feels even more magical. As soon as I stepped into this incredible land, I was surrounded by the charm of beloved Disney stories brought to life!
From the stunning rides to the yummy new treats, every detail of Fantasy Springs captured my imagination. Exploring the beautiful landscapes and experiencing the magic firsthand was truly unforgettable, and it’s a place I know you will definitely want to check out!

Why Go to Tokyo Disneyland Resort
Tokyo Disneyland Resort is a must-visit destination for any Disney fan or traveler seeking a magical experience. It offers a unique blend of classic Disney charm with a touch of Japanese culture and hospitality, making it stand out from other Disney parks around the world.
From the breathtaking attention to detail in its themed lands to the world-class entertainment and parades, the resort is designed to immerse you in enchantment. You’ll find attractions and shows exclusive to Tokyo, like “Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast” and the ever popular “Big Band Beat” snow.
The impeccable cleanliness, friendly cast members, and delicious Japanese-inspired Disney snacks add to the unforgettable experience, making it worth every moment of your visit.
What is Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea?
Tokyo DisneySea’s newest addition, Fantasy Springs, is a realm where your favorite Disney stories come to life in breathtaking detail. Opened in the spring of 2024, this highly anticipated land has already captured the hearts of visitors with its immersive experiences and stunning attractions. Alongside the new land, DisneySea also unveiled the Fantasy Springs Hotel, a luxury resort offering guests an opportunity to stay right in the middle of the magic.
From the moment I stepped into Fantasy Springs, I was surrounded by incredible craftsmanship—every stone, plant, and building felt like it was straight out of a storybook. The new rides, like Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure and Frozen Kingdom, offer breathtaking adventures, each filled with intricate storytelling and cutting-edge technology. The attention to detail here is unbelievable, from the design of the castles and waterfalls to the lifelike characters and scenic landscapes.
Overview of the New Rides and Attractions
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure

Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure was such a fun ride! This 3D five minute long dark ride let’s you soar through Neverland on a flying pirate ship with every twist and turn making you feel as if you are apart of the story.
I loved flying over iconic scenes like Skull Rock and the Lost Boys’ hideout. The ride has a height requirement of 40 inches, so it’s perfect for most kids and adults. It’s such a captivating mix of adventure and fantasy that I think it’s a must-see for any Peter Pan fan!
Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Journey

The Frozen Kingdom boat ride is a breathtaking retelling of the first Frozen movie, featuring some of the most impressive animatronics I’ve ever seen. While I thought the ones in the Beauty and the Beast ride over at Tokyo Disneyland were spectacular, the lifelike figures here take it to a whole new level.
The combination of stunning visuals and getting to hear the beloved music of Frozen creates what I think by far is the best ride in this entire land!
Lasting about six minutes, the ride gives you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the story, with highlights like Elsa’s enchanting ice palace and the unforgettable moment when she sings “Let It Go.”
This ride has the tallest of height requirement: 42 inches, making this ride accessible to older children, but still a must-see for Frozen fans.
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival

The Rapunzel Lantern Festival in Fantasy Springs is one of the most beautiful boat rides I’ve ever experienced. Gliding gently through a sea of glowing lanterns, the ride’s grand finale surrounds you with the warm, soft light of dozens of floating lanterns, creating a moment of pure magic.
The attention to detail is incredible, and the soothing background music adds to the ride’s peaceful, enchanting atmosphere. Lasting about four minutes, it’s the perfect way to relax and take in the magical surroundings.
With no height requirements, this ride is ideal for guests of all ages, making it a serene and unforgettable experience for everyone.
Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies
Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies is an enchanting little ride that I really enjoyed! It’s a charming, gentle spinning ride where you get to hop into adorable little buggies and twirl around Tinker Bell’s magical world.
The ride lasts about four minutes, and it’s perfect for all ages, with no height requirement, so it’s great for kids and adults alike. The whimsical design and vibrant colors make it feel like you’re really flying through Tinker Bell’s realm. It’s a delightful experience that adds a touch of magic to your day at Fantasy Springs!
Themed Food and Dining Options
At the time of writing this blog, it seems the only way you could order food from the new restaurants was through the mobile app. This can be easily downloaded onto your phone and has been updated to include an English option.
Just like in the states, you can pick a time slot when you want to return to come and eat. But these slots were going FAST! and I was only able to snag one for Lookout Cookout for an evening timeslot.
Arendelle Royal Banquet

The Arendelle Royal Banquet is a dining experience that transports you straight into the world of Frozen with its Nordic-inspired menu and regal atmosphere. The ambiance is elegant, with decor inspired by Elsa and Anna’s life as princesses of Arendelle, making it feel like a royal feast.
The restaurant offers two meal sets, with highlights like smoked salmon trout and orange salad, potato gratin, and a choice between beef wrapped in pie or a seafood pie. I opted for the beef pie, which was hearty and delicious.
For dessert, the Olaf’s marshmallow cocoa mousse was a whimsical and sweet treat.
You can also upgrade your drink to beer or wine, but I tried the Kirin Orange, which tasted just like Hi-C Orange—a fun and refreshing option.
There’s even a kids’ meal featuring meatball stew, smoked salmon trout, and apple juice, ensuring little ones enjoy the magic as well!
Oaken’s Okay Food

For a more casual dining experience, Oaken’s Okay Food is a fantastic choice. I tried the Oaken’s Yoohoo Bread, which is filled with flavorful cardamom-spiced meats. The bread itself is soft and warm, complementing the aromatic, savory filling perfectly.
It’s a simple yet satisfying option that captures the essence of a cozy, laid-back meal. If you’re looking for something quick and delicious while exploring the park, Oaken’s Okay Food is definitely worth a stop!
Snuggly Duckling

The Snuggly Duckling, inspired by Tangled, offers a lively and unique dining experience filled with charm and character.
The menu features the Duckling Dream Burger, a hearty burger topped with bologna, tomato, and slaw, with the option to add cheese. If you’re in the mood for seafood, the Fried Shrimp Burger, featuring a crispy shrimp cutlet and slaw, is another great choice. There’s even a veggie burger for those seeking a plant-based option.
For dessert, the adorable caramel muffin comes with a vanilla wafer cookie featuring a cute duckling design, while the Sweets Ever After is a delightful strawberry and lemon custard pie served in a mini frying pan—a fun nod to Rapunzel and Flynn Rider’s iconic weapon.
To wash it all down, Rapunzel’s Magical Tea, a creamy strawberry milk boba tea with strawberry puree, adds a sweet finish to this whimsical dining experience.
Lookout Cookout

Lookout Cookout offers a laid-back dining experience with open-air seating that provides lovely views of Fantasy Springs, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
The menu features two types of Lost Kids Snack Boxes, each packed with chicken tenders, popovers, seaweed fritters, banana chips, and shrimp chips. The only difference is the flavor of the tenders—choose between Curry Butter or Lemon Tea for a fun twist.
The Pixie Dust Soda is a kiwi-flavored drink that kids will love, especially with its interactive yellow star that dissolves into the soda, adding a burst of color and flavor.
For dessert, the lime jelly on yogurt mousse comes in a special Fantasy Springs souvenir mug, which is thoughtfully packaged to keep both the dessert and mug clean and safe.
Popcorn Stand

Just outside of Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies, you’ll find this popcorn stand.
Now, Tokyo Disney has developed a reputation for having a variety of popcorn flavors, and some of them can be quite unique. It seems Fantasy Springs got its own out there flavor: Roast Beef-Flavored Popcorn.
I knew the popcorn flavors here are always worth trying, but I wasn’t sure what to expect of such a crazy flavor. But as soon as I took my first bite, I was hooked! The flavor is surprisingly rich, with a savory roast beef taste that’s bold but not overwhelming.
This is also where you can get another famous item that started in Tokyo Disney: Popcorn Buckets. The ones you can get here are the single popcorn box holders that you can get in many locations throughout the park, and the special Peter Pan Big Ben clocktower popcorn bucket for 3,200 yen (about $23). You can also grab a pair of mini Mickey tongs to pick up your popcorn with.
How to Get into Fantasy Springs

Due to the nature of how crowd control work for new attractions at Tokyo Disney, there are multiple ways you can receive entry into the new land.
⚠️ “You mean I can’t just walk in?” ⚠️
Unfortunately, at the moment, the only way to get into Fantasy Springs is through a special entry ticket. Unlike the standard park admission, these tickets grant you the opportunity to explore Fantasy Springs and all its enchanting attractions.
For those who might be familiar with Disney World and Disneyland’s virtual queues, you will need a virtual pass that you can only obtain on the Tokyo Disney mobile app to enter Fantasy Springs. You can get a:
Stand By Pass
These passes are free and allow you to select ONE of the four rides you want to go on and receive One Hour Return Window to enter the Stand By Line for that ride.
Because these are free, they are limited and go VERY quickly. You can only book one ride per day!
Disney Premier Access
Like Disney World’s Lightning Lane, this is a pass you pay for. So, on top of buying a ticket, you must purchase this fast pass like ticket. This will give you access to the Premier Access lane for a shorter wait time for the designated ride that you picked along with a time you can enter Fantasy Springs.
This is only available for 3 of the 4 rides in Fantasy Springs: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Adventure, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, and Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.
These are also limited and go fast, so be sure to book them as soon as you can!
Please Note: You cannot get any of these passes until your ticket is scanned at the gate!
Please Note: If you use one or both of these options to get into Fantasy Springs, you CANNOT reenter the land once you leave!
Please Note: Because these passes are limited, there is a chance you might miss out on things you want to do
Due to the high demand and limited availability, securing tickets in advance is essential, but if you want a guarenteed entry into Fantasy Springs and have access to all the rides and restaurants, you need to get a One Day Passport Fantasy Springs Magic ticket.
There are two ways to get this special ticket:
One: Spend at least one night in the Fantasy Springs Hotel
Two: Book a special Fantasy Springs vacation package.
I was not able to get a booking at Fantasy Springs Hotel, but I’ll be covering all the details on how to get these special vacation packages, including tips and tricks for booking, in another blog post, so be sure to check it out for everything you need to know!
