What Our Tokyo Disney Vacation Package Cost

Some rooms also feature themes inspired by Disney characters and films, adding another layer of Disney magic to your stay.

One convenient change for international visitors is that you can use a Disney account associated with other Disney services, including Walt Disney World or Disneyland, rather than creating an entirely separate Tokyo Disney account.
I recommend setting up your account and making sure you can successfully log in before your Vacation Package release date.
Step 2: Select Vacation Packages and Enter Your Travel Dates
Once you’re logged in, select Vacation Packages and enter your:
- Check-in date
- Number of nights
- Number of rooms
- Number of adults
- Number and ages of children
The website will then show the Vacation Packages currently available for your dates.
Keep in mind that seeing an available package doesn’t necessarily mean every Disney hotel or room category will still be available. When we booked, some of the packages were available while our hotel choices were already very limited.
Step 3: Choose Your Vacation Package
Next, select the Tokyo Disney Vacation Package you want to book.
You’ll see the package’s basic inclusions before continuing. Pay close attention to the number of park days, attraction benefits, dining experiences, and other perks included because these can vary significantly between packages.
If you’re booking as soon as reservations are released, I recommend having a first and second choice ready before you begin.
Step 4: Choose Your Disney Hotel and Room
After selecting your package, you’ll see the Disney hotels and room categories that are still available.
Your hotel choice can make a significant difference in the total price of your Vacation Package, so pay attention to both the hotel and room category.
When we went through the booking process, there were times when only a few room types were left—and sometimes the remaining rooms were considerably more expensive.
If your first-choice hotel isn’t available, check your backup options rather than abandoning the package altogether.
Step 5: Choose Your Attraction Experiences
Once you’ve selected your hotel, you’ll begin customizing the experiences included with your Vacation Package.
The booking website refers to many of these selections as “Content.” Depending on your package, this can include attraction tickets, character greetings, entertainment, or other experiences.
The number and type of selections you receive will depend on the Vacation Package you’ve chosen.
Some popular attractions require you to select a specific time, while other attraction benefits may be more flexible. This is where having a list of your must-do rides before you begin booking becomes extremely helpful.
Pay close attention to your selected times. You don’t want to create an itinerary that has you rushing from one side of the park to another all day.
Step 6: Select Your Dining and Breakfast Options
Depending on your Vacation Package and Disney hotel, you may also have the opportunity to select restaurants, breakfast, or other dining experiences.
Our own package included two breakfast buffets, so we selected our breakfast locations and reservation times during the planning process.
Restaurant availability varies, and popular dining locations can fill up. Some restaurant selections may also increase the final cost of your package, while declining optional dining can potentially lower it.
When choosing dining times, look carefully at the attraction reservations you’ve already made. Give yourself enough time to enjoy your meal without worrying about missing your next scheduled experience.
Step 7: Review Your Complete Itinerary
One feature I really liked about the Tokyo Disney Vacation Package booking system was being able to see everything together before finalizing the reservation.
After you’ve selected your attractions, dining, and other experiences, the website creates an itinerary showing your plans for each day.
Take your time reviewing this page.
Check for:
- Attractions and dining reservations that overlap
- Reservations scheduled too close together
- Too much backtracking across the parks
- Meal times that don’t work with your plans
- Missing must-do experiences
- Incorrect park days or selections
You can go back and make changes before continuing.
This is also a good opportunity to leave yourself some unscheduled time. You don’t need every minute of your Tokyo Disney trip planned in advance.
Step 8: Review the Final Price
Once you’re happy with your itinerary, continue to the final booking screen.
The website will calculate your total Vacation Package price based on the selections you’ve made, including your hotel, room category, dining, and other applicable choices.
This is the point where you’ll see exactly how much your customized package will cost.
If the total is higher than expected, go back and see whether changing your hotel, room category, dining selections, or other optional experiences brings the package closer to your budget.
Step 9: Pay for Your Vacation Package
Once everything looks correct, proceed to payment.
Tokyo Disney Vacation Packages must be paid for by an accepted credit, debit, or prepaid card when booking. After your payment is processed, you’ll receive confirmation of your reservation.
Save your confirmation information and keep the email somewhere easy to access during your trip.
Can You Change Your Vacation Package After Booking?
Yes, certain parts of your reservation can be managed after you’ve booked, provided you’re still within the applicable reservation and modification periods.
Log back into the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets website and open My Bookings to view your reservation. Depending on your package and availability, you may be able to modify eligible experiences or take advantage of additional online reservation privileges.
Don’t wait until the last minute to make changes. Tokyo Disney Resort generally accepts Vacation Package reservations until 11:59 p.m. JST 10 days before check-in, although deadlines can differ by plan, and reservation details cannot be changed once the applicable booking period has ended.
Our Booking Tip: Before your booking window opens, write down your preferred package, hotel, backup hotel, room type, must-do attractions, and preferred dining experiences. When availability is disappearing quickly, having those decisions made ahead of time can make the entire process much less stressful.
How to Pick Up Your Tokyo Disney Vacation Package
Unlike many parts of your Tokyo Disney trip that are handled through the Tokyo Disney Resort app, several of your Vacation Package benefits are provided as physical tickets and vouchers. These are included in your Vacation Package Kit, which you’ll pick up when you arrive at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Where Do You Pick Up Your Vacation Package?
Your Vacation Package Kit can be picked up from the Disney hotel included in your package.
You don’t have to wait until your official hotel check-in time to receive it. If you’re arriving at Tokyo Disney Resort the day before your Vacation Package begins, your kit is generally available from 3:00 PM on the day before check-in.
This can be especially convenient if you’re already staying in the Tokyo Disney Resort area and want to have everything organized before your first park morning.
What Do You Need to Pick It Up?

Tips From Our Tokyo Disney Vacation Package Experience
After visiting Tokyo Disney Resort multiple times, we finally decided to purchase a Tokyo Disney Vacation Package when Fantasy Springs opened at Tokyo DisneySea. Our package included two breakfast buffets, which made our mornings much easier. Instead of figuring out breakfast before heading into the parks, we could eat at the hotel and start the day ready to go.

Don’t Assume You Need the Most Expensive Package
After experiencing a Vacation Package ourselves, I wouldn’t automatically book the most expensive option on our next trip.
Instead, I would look at what we specifically wanted to accomplish and choose the package that provides those benefits. If we’re returning during a quieter period or don’t have several must-do attractions, a less expensive package—or even booking separately—could make more sense.
On the other hand, if we were planning another trip around a major new attraction or experience, I would absolutely consider paying for a Vacation Package again.

Yes—but not for every trip.
For a special trip, a first visit, or a situation like our Fantasy Springs experience where there are attractions we absolutely don’t want to miss, I would book another Vacation Package.
For a casual return visit, however, we’d probably compare the package price with booking separately before making a decision. We’ve visited Tokyo Disney Resort enough times that we’re comfortable navigating the parks without a package when guaranteed experiences aren’t the priority.
Our biggest takeaway is that the Tokyo Disney Vacation Package is most valuable when it solves a specific problem. For us, that problem was uncertainty surrounding Fantasy Springs. The package gave us peace of mind before we ever arrived at Tokyo DisneySea, and that ultimately made the premium price worth paying.

For most first-time visitors, I recommend at least two full park days—one for Tokyo Disneyland and one for Tokyo DisneySea. Three days are even better if Tokyo Disney is a major part of your Japan trip, especially if you want time for attractions, shows, dining, shopping, and exploring without rushing.
Should first-time visitors book a Tokyo Disney Vacation Package?
If your budget allows, first-time visitors are some of the travelers who can benefit most from a Vacation Package. Having your hotel, tickets, and several important experiences arranged ahead of time can make Tokyo Disney Resort much less intimidating.
However, a Vacation Package isn’t necessary to have a great trip. If the price doesn’t fit your budget, you can absolutely visit Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea successfully by booking everything separately and planning ahead.
