2. Cane & Barrel
110 2nd St N, St. Petersburg
The coolest new spot in Downtown St. Pete is Cane and Barrel!
We discovered that parking across the street was, in fact, far less expensive than parking at the hotel itself. For one to four hours, parking cost $1. But make sure you save your ticket!
Arrived on a Saturday for their Boozy Brunch and we had a great time. The day was beautiful, and the vista was breathtaking. The location is adorable and features a cuban motif.
We started with some appetizers after ordering some good and intriguing beverages. Chris got the Coco Dorado (Rum Haven Coconut Rum & Dark Rum, Combier Liqueur D’Orange, Lime Juice, Orgeat Syrup, and Pineapple Juice) while I tried one of their mocktails, a Morning Sunrise (Cranberry, Lemon, Grapefruit, Simple Syrup, Hibiscus Syrup, Lemon Soda, Sparkling Lemonade, and Foaming Bitters)
Their C&B Burger was a delicious breakfast styled burger with Chorizo, Applewood Bacon, Fried Egg, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onion, and a Garlic Aioli. We also got their Caramel Apple Empanadas to satisfy our sweet tooth.
Cane and Barrel was a wonderful way to spending a late morning while enjoying the views and lovely weather.

The Rooftop Mai Tai Cake was definitely a “boozy sweet experience”. A Blood Orange Liquor Cake with Pineapple Rum Compote, Limon Rum Chata Anglaise, Tropical Punch Vodka Pearls topped with Almonds and Lime.
Our Blackberry Bourbon Smash (Benchmark Bourbon with Lemon, Honey, and Mint) and Espresso Martini (Stoli Vanilla Vodka with Espresso, Coffee Liquor, and Buffalo Trace Cream) were a great way to end our night.

To top off our meal, we got some of their signature drinks. The After Thot, a spritz with Tito’s Vodka, Montenegro, Select Apertivo, Passionfruit and Lemon was deliciously refreshing. 6. Hi-Fo Rooftop Bar
453 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin

Located inside Hotel Fenway, the Hi-Fo FRooftop Bar is a hidden treasure. They always have terrific beers on draft and make wonderful drinks. The best time to check this place out is around sunset, but it’s often crowded, so get there early enough to secure a space.
With views of the lake and these exquisite west coast sunsets, the setting is breathtaking. The cocktail creations are inventive and delicious, and the service is attentive and timely. We had a Fenway Sunset (Gin with Elderflower, Lemon and Simple Syrup) and the Absinthe-Minded Tourist (Tequila, Lime, Pineapple, and Absinthe with a hint of Cinnamon), perfect drinks to accompany the lovely view!
They do offer a small menu of appetizers, shareables, and sandwiches if you need a bite to eat.
Just know, if you want to bring your car, you may have to pay for valet parking if you are not a hotel guest.
7. Sal Y Mar
3650 Midtown Drive, Tampa

The restaurant is ideally situated on the rooftop of the Aloft Tampa Hotel in Midtown Tampa. The bar is wonderfully furnished and has such a beautiful aesthetic! Loved the earthy tones and wood to construct the table. Really endearing!
I was pleasantly delighted when I stopped in for their brunch when we last visited Tampa. The food and beverages were fantastic and were priced fairly. The service was outstanding. Ambiance is wonderful.
Their Chicken and Waffles were wonderfully fluffy and flavorful. Chris couldn’t stop talking about his Shrimp and Grits, and I think that might be because of the Jack Daniel’s Butter Sauce that they add to it!
Also, the outside pool was quite stylish, adding to the beautiful view of Tampa in the morning!
If your looking for a great brunch that just happens to be in one of the best rooftop bars in Tampa, then you found the right place in Sal Y Mar.
8. SiX at JW Marriott
510 Water St, Tampa
Perched on the sixth story of Tampa’s JW Marriott Water Street, Six is a romantically beautiful SiX rooftop bar.
A romantic evening was made possible by the attentive service and the enchanting ambience. This is the type of spot where you can take your time, enjoy your dinner, and watch the city come to life as dusk falls.
And then, there is the food. I genuinely wanted to spread the basil butter that is included with the bread service on everything, and I did put some on my Devil Crab Cakes. And the Garlic Butter Scallops were absolutely delectable.
The sunsets here are truly breathtaking! I’m telling you, Six has one of the nicest rooftop bars with a sunset view in all of Tampa, and it’s an impressive sight.
9. Luna Lounge at Bulla Gastrobar
930 S Howard Ave 5th floor, Tampa
Great location for a breathtaking view of Tampa Bay! Bulla Gastrobar’s fifth floor is home to the Luna Lounge. I love coming up here to SoHo to see the sunset. This rooftop bar in south Tampa is adorable and has a really great vibe.
I got to say, it’s likely the smallest rooftop we’ve seen, and it can be challenging to get a seat at the bar or at one of the coffee tables. I advise heading to Luna Lounge as near as 5 p.m. as possible before the sun sets!
Their Happy Hour is nice, and the beverages are great, especially if you enjoy Spanish wine or beer. Great cocktails every time! The bartenders are informed and pleasant. The atmosphere is ideal for happy hour, date night, girls night, etc.
The Spanish Old Fashion was our favorite. Really refreshing and the Chocolate Bitters added a unique touch. They also have a selection of Tapas, Flatbreads and a Chef’s Board full of delectable meats and cheeses!
11. Topgolf Tampa Bay Rooftop Terrace Bar
10690 Palm River Rd, Tampa

Now, we aren’t golf people, but some friends of ours wanted to check this place out and we had a great time!
Reserving a Bay for all six of us was simple and it was just $89 for Two Hours!
An attendant met us at our bay, assisted with profile creation and sign in, and gave us tips on how to play and have the most of the afternoon.
The servers really take care of you, and I adore the atmosphere and how immaculate this Topgolf is. They have these awesome drinks called “Golfbags” which are large enough for two people! Boozy Cherry Limeade anyone?
And with great pub fare like Nachos, Wings, Pizza Flatbreads, Tacos, and Sandwiches, you’re gonna get your fill of good food. We also got the Injectable Donut Holes, where you can add a filling of your choosing! Strongly suggested for a great meal and enjoyable hangout in Tampa Bay.
They always have promotions going on as well. Right now, on Wednesdays, if your order wings, you’ll get $20 off your game time!
Not too many people think of Golf when it comes to a bar, but this has to be one of the most rooftop bars in Tampa to date.
12. Azure at Tampa Edition
500 Channelside Dr, Tampa
Azure is a destination to stimulate your taste buds and your visual senses.
It is situated on the ninth story of the Edition hotel in Tampa. Both indoor and outdoor seats are available at the restaurant, and both provide breathtaking views of Channelside and downtown Tampa. The rooftop bar and hotel pool are next to the outdoor seating area, which becomes busy at times.
During our visit, the meal was served promptly and the service was good. Azure’s menu features contemporary Greek-inspired dishes. The appetizers we ordered were Crudités with Hummus & Avocado and the Cheese Saganaki. We followed it up with Colorado Lamp Chops and the Atlantic Lobster Kebab
And of course we got drinks and dessert. A crisp Kentucky Mule and an aromatic Espresso Martini, with a Greek Cheesecake drizzled in Pistachio and Orange Marmalade.
13. Casa Santa Stefano
1607 N. 22nd Street, Tampa
Savor the amazing sunset views over historic Ybor City and Tampa’s lovely weather at Santo’s Drinkeria, one of the best indoor-outdoor rooftop bars in Tampa located above Casa Santo Stefano.
Craft cocktails and flavor-filled Sicilian street food, Casa Santa Stefano is an excellent rooftop bar in Tampa that is both sophisticated and perfectly captures the spirit, heritage, and tradition of Ybor City. Our meal is delicious and genuine, and the waitresses are quite good at making suggestions.
Though they don’t serve the entire menu, the rooftop location is perfect for a fine drink and appetizers. The bartenders were really helpful and led us through a number of food and drink choices.
We chose the Blueberry Basil Gimlet (Muddled Blueberries, Malfy Gin, Basil Syrup and Lim) and a Limonata (Herbal Lemonade with Italian Strega liqueur, Limoncello, and Rosemary Syrup).
The appetizers of Scacciata Siciliana, Santo Stefano’s sfinciune bread infused with tomato sauce, garlic, onion, pecorino and Sicilian caciocavallo cheese was a great way to start our night along side with some potato Gnocchi Sorrentina with house-made tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella.
I’ll never turn down the chance to get good Sicilian pizza. The pizza was expertly cooked and the thin crust screamed “authentic Italian.” We got the Sicilian Hot Honey which had Sopressata, ricotta, mozzarella Calabrese cherry pepper, hot honey drizzle. Absolutely delicious!
14. 360 Rooftop at Hotel Zamora
3701 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach

This massive rooftop bar with views of St Pete Beach is being a new hot spot and a fav the fortunate guests of the Zamora Hotel.
The roof is enormous! If you go from end to end, you can see 360 degrees of the water, and it appears to cover the whole hotel roof. Of course, the side facing the water is by far the loveliest view.
The drinks are tasty and somewhat potent. The Garden Party is a refreshing Cucumber infused Gin with Lemon, Strawberry, and Basil and the Tropic Heat (Jalapeño infused Tequila with Guava) had such a nice snappy kick to it.
This is a great place to get gourmet drinks with an amazing view.
15. Vista at the Top
214 Madonna Blvd, Tierra Verde
Vista at the Top is a rooftop bar located on the seventh story of the Tierra Verde Residence Inn. It offers stunning views over the marina and the Tierra Verde region from two sides.
We had their Rum Runners, a delectable blend of Siesta Key Coconut Rum, Goslings Black Rum, Banana Liqueur, Blackberry Liqueur, Pineapple juice.
We started off our meal with some Chips and Salsa, that was a pineapple-mango flavor!
We then opted for the Island Pork Sliders with a Mango Slaw and the Potato Bravas. The sliders was absolutely delicious. The potato bravas with the chimichurri sauce and pimenton aioli were a nice add on.
Since these are Tapas styled small plates, we also got the Seared Scallops. The Citrus Dill Crema that they are drizzled really takes scallops to a new level.
This is the spot to go if you’re searching for a low-key location to get some small bites and delicious drinks while watching the sunset.
16. Level 11 Rooftop Bar
5250 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach

On a Thursday evening, Chris and I headed to Level 11 Rooftop Bar & Lounge to see the beautiful sunset over St. Pete Beach. I have to admit, this location offered an absolutely breathtaking view of the setting sun. It provides, in my opinion, the best sunset vista in the whole St. Pete region.
They offer appetizers and drinks, with full meals available at their Rooftop Restaurant, Spinners.
We went ahead and got their Tropical Fruit Board that came with a Vanilla and Mint Yogurt dip, and followed it up wit their Charcuterie Board. We then split the Boursin Bacon Jam Crostini, with Herbed Boursin Cheese, Sweet and Savory Terrapin Bacon Jam, Asparagus and Lemon Zest and topped it off with a Key Lime Martini and an Old Fashion.
Even though there are no beverages offered at the tables—only at the bar—the entire experience was still enjoyable.

Ember Rooftop Lounge is situated on the top level of the Cambria Hotel. The modern, laid-back rooftop bar in Madeira Beach, you can savor freshly prepared seafood specialties, unwind by the pool with your favorite beverage, and toast to the breathtaking sunsets every day.
It can get rather packed around sunset, but there’s usually poolside seating available for those in excess. And although seating is first come, we were able to secure a table right away. The comfy seats was accompanied by fans to ensure that you didn’t overheat in the Florida heat. It was a lovely touch that they gave us complimentary sunset photos to each and every one of us!
We had a lot of appetizers and drinks together! Garlic Parmesan Truffle Fries, Seared Scallops, and the Ruskin Bruschetta (Tomato, Red Onion, Basil, with a Roasted Red Pepper Aioli and Balsamic Glaze) were just the best!

1619 E 7th Ave, Tampa
Club Prana, a five-story nightclub in Ybor City, raised the standard and turned into one of Tampa Bay’s most popular venues. Every floor has its own sound system and style and the rooftop bar is not to be missed!
You are greeted like a star as soon as the red carpets are unrolled at the entrance. You’ll get the VIP treatment by the welcoming door staff and the sensation of sheer exhilaration overwhelms you as soon as you walk in.
The servers were attentive and you won’t wait long to get any drinks.
In my view, one of the greatest rooftop bars in Tampa to get your dancing on. Club Prana is basically divided into 5 floors, where DJs spin various genres of music. While there is dancing on all four, the most vibrant places to get your groove on are the first and fourth.
The first floor plays the top 40 hits were played on the lower level. Salsa, reggaeton, and other Spanish music filled the fourth floor. The second floor is usually held for private events and the third floor is the VIP lounge.
And while a great party is going on the inside, the top deck on the fifth floor offers an extremely appealing view of Tampa. Also, reggae and some reggaeton were played on this level as your exposed to the night sky if you wanted a breath of fresh air. Very lovely!
If someone asked me where to go on the weekends in Tampa, I would without a doubt suggest this club.
